Delayed Feedback Control by Commutative Gain Matrices

چکیده
The delayed feedback control (DFC) is a control method for stabilizing unstable periodic orbits in nonlinear autonomous differential equations. We give an important relationship between the characteristic multipliers of the linear variational equation around an unstable periodic solution of the equation and those of its delayed feedback equation. The key of our proof is a result about the spectrum of a matrix which is a difference of commutative matrices. The relationship, moreover, allows us to design control gains of the DFC such that the unstable periodic solution is stabilized. In other words, the validity of the DFC is proved mathematically. As an application for the Rössler equation, we determine the best range of k such that the unstable periodic orbit is stabilized by taking a feedback gain K = kE.

Dynamic Output Feedback Stabilization of Controlled Positive Discrete-Time Systems with Delays
The problem of stabilization by means of dynamic output feedback is studied for discrete-time delayed systems with possible interval uncertainties. The control is under positivity constraint, which means that the resultant closed-loop system must be stable and positive. The robust resilient controller is respect to additive controller gain variation which also belongs to an interval. Necessary ...
متن کاملRobust Fuzzy Gain-Scheduled Control of the 3-Phase IPMSM
This article presents a fuzzy robust Mixed - Sensitivity Gain - Scheduled H controller based on the Loop -Shaping methodology for a class of MIMO uncertain nonlinear Time - Varying systems. In order to design this controller, the nonlinear parameter - dependent plant is first modeled as a set of linear subsystems by Takagi and Sugeno’s (T - S) fuzzy approach. Both Loop - Shaping methodology and...
متن کاملA Parameterization of Stabilizing Controllers over Commutative Rings
In this paper we are concerned with the factorization approach to control systems, which has the advantage that it embraces, within a single framework, numerous linear systems such as continuous-time as well as discrete-time systems, lumped as well as distributed systems, 1-D as well as n-D systems, etc.[1]. The factorization approach was patterned after Desoer et al.[2] and Vidyasagar et al.[1...

In this article, a new approach is proposed to design robust switching gain-scheduled dynamic output feedback control for switched uncertain continuous-time linear parameter varying (LPV) systems. The proposed robust switching gain-scheduled controllers are robustly designed so that the stability and H2-gain performance of the switched closed-loop uncertain LPV system can be guaranteed even und...

Exact decentralized output-feedback Lyapunov-based designs of direct MRAC for linear interconnected systems with MIMO subsystems are introduced. The design process uses a coordinated decentralized structure of adaptive control with reference model coordination. We develop decentralized MRAC on the base of a priory information about only the local subsystems gain frequency matrices without addit...
